Hi, I’m Kerlisha. Woman of God, full-time wife, mother, Administrative Assistant, in addition to a part-time Adjunct Professor and aspiring author. When I’m not spending time with my family or working, I enjoy writing. Honestly, I don’t have a specific topic I like writing about. But my writings usually tend to center around my thoughts on love, life, family and faith.
Kerlisha Broomes is a proud migrant from the beautiful island of Grenada. From the moment she arrived, she committed herself to personal growth and making a meaningful impact on others. Her deep-seated passion for helping people has guided her toward a purpose-driven life.
After earning her master’s degree in psychology, Kerlisha embraced the opportunity to “pay it forward” as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Behavioral Science at Mercy University. She also volunteers at Mercy University’s annual NYS Mediation Training, hosted by the Sociology Department. Committed to shaping and empowering minds, Kerlisha continues to pursue higher education while dedicating herself to mentorship. Through the NYC iMentor Program, she supports at-risk high school students by sharing her journey to higher education and helping them discover their purpose.
A former Sunday School teacher and Vacation Bible School director, Kerlisha remains actively involved in community development through her local church, Ramah Christian Center, where she serves as a full-time Executive Administrator. She is also the co-owner of Broom3s Enterprise, LLC, a commercial cleaning business.
