Who me? Organized? Not entirely, however, my husband or my boss might tell you otherwise. Like many others I’m sure, I do find it hard to keep track of my weekly schedule. You know: school, work deadlines, grocery shopping, tidying up, paying bills, my daughter’s extracurricular activities, remembering appointments and so on. Fortunately, in our house we all pitch in. No one person does everything. But I do have a little secret that helps my day run more smoothly. I try to make it a habit before the start of every week (usually Sunday night), to create a list of things I have to attend to the for that week and formulate a deadline for each based on priority. I also try to strategically set aside times throughout the week for regrouping because I have learnt that part of ‘staying’ organized is ensuring that you aren’t doing too much at a time and that there is adequate time in-between tasks to regroup.
