Grace to Endure!

The higher up you go in altitude, the clearer the air. Once the air is clear your mind is free to perceive and think clearer.

The thing about going higher up the mountains is that the road become less accessible, the terrain gets more steep and difficult to climb, there are more obstacles in your way….

So to it is with life…. the higher you go in life, the more you press towards the mark of the high calling the steeper the climb becomes. The more rugged the terrain gets but the more beautiful the scenery becomes, the fruits are fresher, sweeter and in abundance bcus the soil higher up is more conducive to rearing crops, (the more you are fed spiritually), the more clear the air becomes (it was on the Mount of Transfiguration that God revealed His self to Moses)…the more grace God extends to you and in the process God builds your endurance.

The thing about grace is that you don’t necessarily see it while it is happening, just like an athlete doesn’t physically see their muscles growing as it is happening…. but over time you are able to measure that grace by looking back over your life and seeing the transformation between your past and your future…. that’s why its important to endure to keep going…

That’s how your spiritual muscle is built…

For athletes, muscle is built by adding more to their workout routine… you don’t grow by remaining stagnant or being comfortable.

My past was designed to reveal the grace and love of God, not just to me but to those I would come in contact with, those He would strategically place in my life for me to witness to.

Letters From the Father (Series 1)

Dearest soul, I know there are many situations that leave you wondering if your life has any real meaning. But let me assure you dearest one, that I can indeed use you to be a blessing to those around you. Just as I used Paul in prison, or the widow woman to feed Elijah, or…

She Believed she could…

She believed she could… yet she didn’t… Though she sat at the table of provision, she feasted on fear and doubt… Though surrounded by the noise of celebration all around her, she stood trapped in the silence of her insecurities… Though goodness and mercy followed her, she chose to walk alone… Though joy offered her…

Letter to my 14 year old self

Dear Younger Me, Wow! Where do I begin? Let me start by saying I am so sorry for what you’ve had to endure already at such a young age. I am sorry no one was there to protect you from being taken advantage of. I am sorry no one was there to comfort you from…

Staying Organized!

Who me? Organized? Not entirely, however, my husband or my boss might tell you otherwise. Like many others I’m sure, I do find it hard to keep track of my weekly schedule. You know: school, work deadlines, grocery shopping, tidying up, paying bills, my daughter’s extracurricular activities, remembering appointments and so on. Fortunately, in our…
